ETUG Steering Committee (SCETUG) is voluntary group representing universities, colleges, institutes, educational agencies, and the K-12 system.  The term of an SCETUG member is 3 years, to a maximum of two consecutive terms (6 years).

There are 15 members on the committee (12 volunteers, 3 from BCcampus). When a vacancy exists on SCETUG, new members are recruited by the Chair, based on the advice from SCETUG members and maintenance of representative components of the committee (e.g., broad representation is desired with members from a variety of institutions, regions, and educational roles).

In addition to a steering committee, ETUG has a number of institutional representatives who are responsible for distributing information on ETUG events and activities at their home institutions.
