While we’ve been quite successful in providing ETUG members with great networking and sharing at our Fall and Spring workshops (See Spring Workshop 2013 Feedback), one of the things we’ve not quite addressed on is how to support ongoing and thoughtful online conversations between these events.
So we’ve created a new ETUG Community space in SCoPE which we hope will do just this. During the time close to a fall or spring workshop we’ll feature discussions related to the workshop –the program theme, session info, sharing of resources, logistical help (carpooling), social programs etc. — replacing our use of Crowdvine.com. The ETUG discussion area is open (anyone can view) but to post you will need to log in with your SCoPE account. (If you don’t already have an account, it’s a quick process to create one.) To start with we’ve also created a General Discussion forum to where you can post whatever you would like to ask or share with members.
We hope this ETUG community space will help to connect all the brilliant, energetic and generous individuals who are so much a part of our community.
