I’m an Educational Technology Specialist at Northern Lights College, where I support faculty and staff in using digital tools to enrich teaching and learning. I’ve also had the chance to work in the Continuing Education department and teach in the ESL program.
Educational technology has been a common thread throughout my life and work. My interest in this field began in high school, when I completed Grade 10 entirely online, and it has shaped much of my journey since. I’ve delivered ESL lessons remotely to students in China, facilitated hybrid learning while living in Thailand, and explored how chatbots impact the student experience as part of my master’s research. Currently, I’m particularly focused on helping faculty, staff, and students navigate Generative AI thoughtfully and ethically. I’m excited to contribute to ETUG and connect with others across the province who share a passion for educational technology.
Outside of work, you will find me spending time outdoors and discovering new places, whether it’s a local hiking trail or somewhere a bit farther from home.
